Our client is a leading brokerage and investment bank with an established presence across ASEAN, the UK and the US. The firm provides a broad range of financial services, including corporate finance and advisory, debt and equity capital markets, derivatives trading, brokerage and research for retail and institutional clients, as well as prime brokerage services.
Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the Sector Head to originate and execute transactions within the assigned coverage area.
- Take ownership of day-to-day project management and transaction execution.
- Manage the full transaction lifecycle, from initial pitching and deal structuring through to successful completion.
- Engage extensively with clients, with travel required as part of the role.
- Work closely with regional stakeholders, including senior management, regional product heads and credit committees, to develop and deliver suitable solutions for clients.
- Develop and review detailed financial models and conduct comprehensive financial and valuation analyses.
- Prepare transaction and marketing materials, including pitch books, management presentations, valuation papers and prospectus documentation.
- Manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously while ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
- Guide and mentor junior bankers and oversee their day-to-day work and deliverables.
- Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, market developments and the competitive landscape.
Requirements:
- Strong academic background with a degree in Accountancy, Banking and Finance, or a related discipline from a reputable university.
- At least 6–8 years of relevant experience.
- Previous auditing or advisory experience would be an advantage.
- Strong quantitative, analytical and technical capabilities.
- High level of proficiency in corporate finance, valuation and financial modelling.
- Self-motivated and driven, with enthusiasm, creativity and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication, multitasking and time-management skills.
