Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a large-scale, highly complex logistics operation or a portfolio of multiple business units and distribution hubs with sizeable inventory and operational teams.
- Develop and execute operational roadmaps, including short-term tactical planning and long-term strategic initiatives focused on scalability, automation, and business growth.
- Drive organizational development and workforce planning, ensuring strong leadership pipelines, succession planning, and high-performing operational teams.
- Partner with key stakeholders to execute business strategies, lead commercial discussions, support contract renewals, and manage strategic customer relationships.
- Take ownership of the overall P&L performance for major business portfolios, driving profitability, cost optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Evaluate and propose CAPEX investments, including warehouse automation, material handling equipment (MHE), and facility enhancement projects through strong ROI analysis and business case development.
- Oversee workplace safety, operational risk management, and business continuity planning (BCP) to ensure compliance and operational resilience.
- Lead large-scale Continuous Improvement and transformation initiatives in collaboration with Engineering, IT, Commercial, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related discipline. MBA or postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of leadership experience within contract logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations environments.
- Proven experience managing managers and leading large-scale, multi-site, or highly complex logistics operations.
- Strong P&L management experience with the ability to drive operational performance and business growth.
- Demonstrated exposure to automation, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and transformation projects.
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and strategic planning capabilities.
