Engineer, QEM Incoming Quality Control
About this job
Drive quality consistency for all incoming materials
Continuously improve the IQC business processes
Setup and maintain SAP QM (Quality Management) and SQM/MQM for incoming materials
Perform incoming material inspection and characterize key incoming materials
Setup SPC monitoring program and reaction mechanism
Manage materials disposition through incoming material MRB
Work with global stakeholders on supplier quality management
Ability to work with external and internal groups with a positive, customer service orientated attitude
Understand and drive key business processes used at site and globally
For business process and/or QMS component that one is responsible or accountable for:
a) ensuring the QMS/business process that is effective and conforms to requirements
b) ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs
c) reporting on QMS/business process performance and opportunities for improvement to management
d) ensuring the promotion of internal and external customer focus throughout the organization
e) ensuring the maintenance of the integrity of the QMS/ business process when changes are planned and implemented.
f) ensuring customer requirements are met
Apply AI-Enabled and AI-Assisted methodologies, including LLMs, AI Agents, and Generative AI tools, to enhance inspection strategies, automate quality data analysis, improve anomaly detection, and drive continuous improvement in incoming quality control processes.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field
Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
