BIM Modeller

Job Summary

Design and draft electrical and building services drawings using AutoCAD and BIM tools, coordinate with engineering teams and stakeholders, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations for construction projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Working closely with project management team to initiate, implement and monitor workplans.

2. Assist the Project Manager with regards to project matters, including planning, scheduling, progress and quality.

3. Liaise with Owner/Main-contractor representative regarding site/project technical issues.

4. Attend meetings with regards to technical matters.

5. Attend meetings regarding co-ordination matters.

6. Prepare and maintain document/records pertaining to engineering matters, including inspection checklist, reports etc.

7. Liaise and instruct site supervisors, sub-contractors on works schedules, quality control and tests matter.

8. Liaise with in-house designer/consultants for preparation works necessary for the commencement/progress of site works.

9. Liaise with Land Surveyor and Draft person regarding shop drawing and as-built drawing preparation/submission.

10. Ensure works areconducted in safe and timely manner.

11. Prepare and maintaindocument/ record for ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 compliance.

Job requirements:

1. Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.

2. 1–3 years of BIM project experience preferred.

3. Good knowledge of AutoCAD software, well-versed in using Autodesk Revit BIM software/tools.

4. Good technical knowledge and planning skills in managing modelling and drafting works.

5. Resourceful, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

6. Commitment to a 5.5-Day Work Week.
