Role Summary
As an Automotive Wireless Communication Engineer, you will design and develop wireless connectivity solutions for next-generation in-vehicle systems, including integrated cockpit and intelligent driving platforms. You’ll work across the full stack—from protocol design to system integration—ensuring robust, high-performance communication across multiple wireless technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop wireless communication software for automotive SoC platforms
- Own architecture design and protocol development across technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, Cellular (4G/5G), UWB, and in-vehicle networking
- Integrate wireless modules into cockpit and driving domain systems, supporting productization and deployment
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and latency across communication stacks
- Develop and maintain network protocol stacks and low-level communication components
- Participate in system testing, validation, and debugging of wireless communication solutions
How you will stand out
- Bachelor's degree or above in Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Information or related majors.
- At least 5 years of experience in communication products and C programming, and
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and OSI model, with familiarity in communication protocol standards and hands-on protocol stack development experience
- Expertise in one or more wireless technologies (e.g., 4G/5G, WLAN, UWB, Bluetooth, Zigbee, GNSS, Lora, NB-IoT, NFC)
- Experience with Linux or Android networking/wireless subsystems
- Proven ability to optimize and debug communication systems in complex environments
- Background in embedded systems development (ARM or similar platforms) are preferred
- Background in automotive software development or in-vehicle networks is a strong advantage
