Student Care Teacher (Full Time)

We are looking for a responsible and committed Student Care Teacher to supervise and support primary school students in a safe, structured and positive environment.

Candidates who can also conduct in-house enrichment programmes in English, Chinese, Mathematics or Science will be given strong consideration.

Key Responsibilities

* Fetch students safely from designated schools or pick-up points.

* Conduct attendance checks and ensure every student is properly accounted for.

* Supervise students during meals, homework, lessons, activities and dismissal.

* Guide students in completing and correcting their daily school homework.

* Conduct spelling, tingxie, revision and other assigned academic practices.

* Provide academic support without completing the students’ work for them.

* Maintain proper classroom discipline and manage student behaviour firmly and professionally.

* Monitor students’ academic progress, behaviour, health and general well-being.

* Communicate relevant student updates to parents and the centre supervisor.

* Plan and conduct educational, recreational and character-building activities.

* Support school holiday programmes, excursions, workshops and centre events.

* Maintain accurate attendance, homework, dismissal and incident records.

* Assist with meal distribution and supervise students during mealtimes.

* Keep classrooms, learning materials and shared areas organised and safe.

* Work cooperatively with other teachers and support daily centre operations.

* Follow all centre policies, safety procedures and management instructions.

Enrichment Teaching

Candidates who are able to plan and conduct structured enrichment lessons in one or more of the following subjects will have an advantage:

* English

* Chinese

* Mathematics

* Science

Relevant teaching materials and programme guidance may be provided. Previous tuition, enrichment or classroom teaching experience is preferred.

Requirements

* Minimum GCE N-Level, O-Level, Diploma or equivalent qualification.

* Experience working with primary school children is preferred.

* Able to guide students in primary-level homework and revision.

* Able to communicate clearly in English.

* Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

* Patient but firm when managing students.

* Physically able to walk to nearby schools and supervise students outdoors.

* Responsible, punctual, organised and dependable.

* Able to work independently and as part of a team.

* Willing to support centre programmes and take on reasonable operational duties.

* Basic first-aid certification is an advantage.

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 10.00 am to 7.30 pm, with a scheduled meal break
