Compliance Manager

My client is currently seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Compliance Manager to lead thier Group-wide compliance function. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring business operations meet all regulatory requirements, mitigating risks, and acting as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Oversight: Ensure full compliance with all relevant laws, regulatory guidelines, and internal policies across the Group.

• Regulatory Liaison: Manage all communications, reporting, and audits with regulatory authorities.

• Risk & Audit: Conduct regular risk assessments, identify operational gaps, and perform hands-on compliance audits to ensure robust internal controls.

• Policy Management: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and operational manuals.

• Advisory: Provide actionable compliance advice to business units and support the assessment of new business initiatives.

• Training: Champion a strong compliance culture by designing and delivering regular training programs for staff at all levels.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.

• 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk management, or audit.

• Background in Financial Services or the Money Lending industry is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of consumer finance/money lending regulatory frameworks.

• Demonstrated experience in developing compliance frameworks, conducting audits, and performing gap analysis.

• Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and hands-on, with the ability to lead a team and work independently.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; prior experience liaising with regulators is highly advantageous.
