TRAFFIC ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants and construction teams to manage traffic diversion, drainage diversion, and final reinstatement works effectively
• Obtain LTA approval for traffic diversion stages by preparing and submitting PSR and safety documentation
• Oversee and support site coordination with sub-contractors and LTA term contractors for pre- and post-traffic diversion activities
• Prepare detailed drawings for submission to relevant authorities to secure project approvals
• Conduct traffic impact assessments for new proposals to evaluate and mitigate potential disruptions

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, supporting technical understanding of civil and traffic engineering principles
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing traffic-related works, demonstrating practical expertise in the field
• Strong knowledge of LTA road and traffic standards and guidelines, including SDRE, CDC, and COP, to ensure regulatory compliance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing technical drawings and plans
• Experience with SIDRA software to analyze traffic flow and impact
