Microsoft Power Platform Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy custom business applications using Power Apps (canvas and model-driven).
• Build automated workflows and business processes using Power Automate, including cloud flows, desktop flows (RPA), and business process flows.
• Architect and maintain Microsoft Dataverse solutions, including table design, relationships, security roles, business rules, and integration with Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365.
• Develop conversational agents and intelligent assistants using Microsoft Copilot Studio, including topic authoring, generative answers, agent actions, and knowledge source configuration.
• Integrate solutions with Microsoft Foundry for advanced AI scenarios, including model orchestration, agent extensibility, and grounding on enterprise data.
• Participate in proof-of-concept (POC) engagements with clear go/no-go decision points and client validation checkpoints.
• Apply Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) best practices using solutions, environment variables, and pipelines.
• Collaborate with security, governance, and compliance teams to ensure solutions adhere to Managed Environments policies and data loss prevention (DLP) standards.
• Document technical designs, deliver knowledge transfer, and support client teams through go-live and post-deployment stabilization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
• Proven expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Experience building conversational agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, including topic design, generative answers, and knowledge integration.
• Strong understanding of Dataverse data modeling, security roles, and solution architecture.
• Experience working with standard, premium, and custom connectors, and integrating solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Azure services.
• Proficiency in Power Fx, JSON, and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Power Platform governance, including Managed Environments and environment strategy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging directly with business and client stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Foundry, including agent development, model deployment, and enterprise AI integration, is preferred.
• Experience with Azure services such as Azure OpenAI, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Log Analytics is preferred.
• Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Dynamics 365 applications is preferred.
• Familiarity with Power BI for embedded analytics and reporting is advantageous.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications, including PL-100 (Power Platform App Maker), PL-200 (Power Platform Functional Consultant), PL-400 (Power Platform Developer), PL-600 (Power Platform Solution Architect), and AB-620 (Copilot Studio) or AB-100 (Solutions Architect), are preferred.
• Prior consulting or client-facing delivery experience, ideally within regulated industries such as banking, insurance, manufacturing, or automotive, is advantageous.
