Logistics Assistant (Delivery and Packing)

Job Description & Requirements

This role involves regular deliveries to customers’ locations, together with packing, stock handling and general storeroom duties.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and check products accurately before delivery.
• Prepare orders for delivery and ensure that the correct items are loaded.
• Travel with the arranged company transport to deliver orders to customers’ locations.
• Assist with loading and unloading cartons or products during deliveries.
• Receive, arrange and organise incoming goods in the storeroom.
• Perform manual material handling, including lifting, carrying and moving cartons or products.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the storeroom and work areas.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the Team Lead.

Requirements

• Comfortable travelling regularly to customers’ locations to complete deliveries.
• Comfortable with manual handling, including lifting, carrying and moving cartons or products.
• Responsible, punctual and attentive to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• No driving licence is required, as transportation for deliveries will be arranged.
• Relevant delivery, packing, logistics or warehousing experience would be advantageous.
• Candidates without relevant experience are welcome to apply, as training will be provided.
