Operations Dispatcher

Job Description

We are an established cement distributor in Jurong Port Terminal seeking an Operations Dispatcher to manage daily product deliveries, coordinate truck driver schedules, and keep our logistics running smoothly. You will serve as the central hub connecting fleet drivers, customers and site operations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule & Route: Assign drivers, plan optimal delivery routes, and schedule dispatch times to meet daily customer order targets.
• Driver Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for drivers on the road-handling live delays, order updates, and delivery issues.
• Track & Report: Monitor fleet tracking systems, update order statuses, and maintain accurate records and delivery logs.
• Site Coordination: Work closely with Sales team ensuring trucks are loaded correctly and delivered to correct project sites.
• Perform hands-on handling of cement and raw materials, including managing hardened or congested materials.
  

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in dispatch, logistic, transport, or fleet coordination.
• Proficiency with dispatch documentations. and standard computer application (Excel/Word).
• Strong communication, quick problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle fast-paced operations.
• Preferred bilingual
• Able to work night shift when required
• Possession of a valid forklift license is a strong advantage
