Job Summary

You will operate heavy forklifts and reach trucks in a container yard, perform equipment inspections and minor repairs, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure safe container handling and placement within the depot.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy forklift and reach truck safely and efficiently in the container yard to support depot operations
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment to ensure operational reliability
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and report major faults promptly to minimize downtime
• Conduct pre-operation safety checks and strictly follow workplace safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Ensure accurate placement and assist with shifting of containers within the depot to optimize yard space

Required competencies and certifications

• Physically fit to work outdoors under varying weather conditions such as sun and rain
• Forklift certification and training will be provided; no prior experience required

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Immediate availability to start work is preferred

Location Benoi Sector, Singapore

Salary S$2,300 – S$2,800 + Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) + Variable Bonus (VB)

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 9: 00 am – 6:00 pm; Saturday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
