Project Manager (Waste Water Process Plant)

Job Description

• Oversee the planning and all project operations.
• Manage the progress of the project and ensures quality and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to manage progress of the project to make sure that the schedule is kept.
• Lead team to manage project operations, schedule, and specifications.
• Manage operational cost to keep cost within the budget.
• Manage site document filing and record keeping in accordance with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) standards.
• Manage subcontractors’ activities to ensure compliance of contract requirements.
• Monitor compliance of work with the workplace safety and health regulations.
• Monitor quality of project delivery to make sure they meet project requirements and regulations.
• Oversee the project team and subcontractors in delivery of project to meet completion date.
• Provide leadership to the project management and construction team.
• Supervise daily site activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering (Degree must be recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore).
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in managing construction projects for water treatment facility or process plant.
• Professional project management certification (eg. PMP, CITPM, etc) is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Good communication skills to liaise with the various stakeholders.
• Hands-on attitude, meticulous and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure, resourceful and independent with good negotiation skills.
• Able to work under tight deadlines.
