Account Executive

Job Summary

The Accounts Executive shall be fully knowledgeable and responsible in the accounts receivable and payable, tax requirements and submission, detail orientated and tidy in book keeping.

Job Description

• Handle Full Set Accounts (Accounts payable/receivables, bank reconciliations, month end closing ect)
• Manage GST, corporate income tax, statutory audit and other Singapore compliance matters, with support from external advisers where appropriate.
• Prepare journal entries, P&L, balance-sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules and financial reports.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support management decision-making.
• Perform day-day accounting data entries.
• Reports to Finance Manager should there be any discrepancies or issues.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management as required.
  

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Min. 3 years experience in construction/process industry;
• Experience in construction/process industry is highly preferred.
• Understands how construction accounts works and identifies the revenue and cost based on the completion progress;
• Have experience in preparation of full set account, liaising with auditor and company secretary.
• Hands-on and meticulous individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with Accounting software, MS Excel and Words.
