HSE Executive

Job Summary

You will maintain and enhance HSE management systems to ensure compliance with legislation and our client's company standards, lead risk assessments, monitor safety performance, and drive continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental practices across the business.

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective HSE management systems to ensure compliance with relevant HSE legislation and company policies
• Manage and update risk assessment processes to identify, assess, and control generic and site-specific risks
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive HSE risk register to document significant risks and control measures
• Monitor progress towards HSE objectives and targets, ensuring compliance with legislative and group requirements
• Oversee reporting and investigation of accidents, incidents, and work-related ill-health cases according to group and local standards
• Plan, prepare, conduct, and report on internal and external HSE audits and inspections
• Implement and maintain HSE performance review and improvement plans at business unit and branch levels
• Facilitate and participate in country and business unit HSE reviews to integrate learnings into improvement plans
• Identify and promote HSE best practices across the country and business units
• Perform other duties as assigned to support HSE objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Formal Work Safety and Health qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a HSE Practitioner
• FSM certification, Biz Safety Level 2
• Manage Work at Height Certificate - Assessor/Manager

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
• Strong knowledge of Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations
• Preferably knowledgeable in local legislation such as WSH, SCDF, and NEA
