TUNNEL ENGINEER

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate daily tunnel and underground construction activities.
• Monitor excavation, ground support, shotcrete, lining, waterproofing, and related works.
• Ensure construction is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and safety requirements.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and productivity.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, surveyors, and other project teams.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and prepare site/progress reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in tunnel and underground construction works.
• Good knowledge of tunnelling methods and underground construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work on construction sites and in underground environments.
