Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain full sets of accounts for fund management companies, investment holding companies and family offices
• Record investment transactions, including purchases, disposals, dividends, interest income and related expenses
• Perform bank, custodian, brokerage and investment portfolio reconciliations
• Assist with NAV calculations, portfolio reporting and management accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Assist with consolidation and intercompany reconciliations
• Support GST, corporate tax, audit and statutory reporting matters
• Assist with MAS regulatory reporting and compliance-related submissions
• Liaise with clients, fund administrators, banks, auditors, tax agents and other service providers
• Maintain proper accounting schedules and supporting documents
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of relevant experience are welcome
• An interest in fund accounting, investment management or family office operations
• Basic understanding of financial instruments and investment transactions is an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication, organisational and time-management skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
