Job Summary:

Responsible for driving delivery of the planned roadmap encompassing multiple projects and application enhancements within the Wealth domain. This role focuses on removing impediments to ensure successful project delivery, coaching and mentoring Agile teams, and fostering strong partnerships across business and technology stakeholders. This role will leverage deep knowledge of systems used in Private Banking, Wealth Management, and servicing High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI), working closely with senior leaders across BOS and OCBC.

This role acts as a key liaison between product owners, technology teams, business units, and governance functions to ensure alignment and smooth execution of Agile initiatives. The VP role will lead Agile teams, monitor progress, and proactively address obstacles to maintain delivery momentum.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Agile Delivery & Scrum Facilitation

  • Serve as Scrum Master for Agile teams and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.

  • Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and continuous improvement practices.

  • Foster collaboration and high performance by removing impediments, resolving conflicts, and promoting effective decision-making.

Project Management & Delivery

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and organizational priorities.

  • Develop project plans, timelines, resource plans, budgets, and delivery roadmaps, while monitoring project progress, managing dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.

  • Drive project execution within agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards, and maintain project governance, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, sponsors, technology teams, vendors, and key stakeholders.

  • Facilitate effective communication between business and technical teams and provide regular project updates and progress reports.

  • Ensure stakeholder expectations are proactively managed throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Coordination & Issue Resolution

  • Work closely with Business Analysts, architects, developers, infrastructure, security, and support teams to coordinate project activities and resolve technical issues, risks, and dependencies.

  • Ensure technical solutions are aligned with business requirements and enterprise standards, while supporting innovative and efficient project delivery approaches.

Financial & Vendor Management

  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and track project expenditures to ensure effective cost management.

  • Support vendor selection, contract management, performance monitoring, and ensure optimal utilization of project resources and budgets.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Champion delivery excellence and continuous improvement, measuring and improving team performance through Agile metrics and delivery KPIs.

  • Promote engineering best practices and ensure delivered solutions meet functional, performance, security, and quality requirements, while implementing lessons learned for future projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience managing IT projects and Agile delivery teams.

  • Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master and/or IT Project Manager in complex technology environments.

  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.

  • Experience managing project budgets, financials, and vendor engagements.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.

  • Experience using Agile and project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar.

  • Experience in delivering Wealth Management Technology Platforms, cloud, application development, digital transformation, or enterprise technology projects.
