Accounting Executive

Job description:

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will also work closely with all fellow accounting members, business units within the company's entity, as well as various the Client's Group of Companies but not limited to:

• Prepare and manage sales’ cost activities and provisioning to ensure accuracy.

• Handles specific leasing and cost monitoring of service warranties.

• Involves in month end closing processes & ensure smooth closing activities.

• Manages the overheads cost allocations and cross charging.

• Fixed costs analysis, various cost reports and cashflows on costs.

• Prepare, track & analyze Balance Sheet items for above activities and report.

• Active support to Forecast and Business Plan activities.

• Prepares and support on Wings reporting and annual audits.

• Involves in GST reporting and ensure timely submission.

• Participates in annual tax preparations and proficient in tax treatments.

• Manages & controls Balance Sheet schedules & journals to ensure completeness.

• Ensure internal controls per policies and adhere to Compliance & Governance.

• Manages business control & process per Internal Approving Rule (IAR).

• Be part of the job rotation to be a versatile member of the Team when arises.

• Any other adhoc tasks or system projects assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy & in Accounting practice of as least 5 years.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (and an expert in Excel).
• Have an eye for detail, meticulous and able to resolve issues independently.
• Good organizational skill, planning and interpersonal communication skills.
• A team player with business acumen and instinctive on business strategies.
• Have initiatives, responsive and intuitive to articulate area of work.
• Passion in putting things in place and always improvise on work efficiencies.
• Experience in SAP ERP ECC system.
• Mature, committed with positive work attributes and attitude.
• Able to work under pressure, robust environment and meet tight deadlines.
