Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management Systems

  • Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System (QMS).

  • Ensure compliance with applicable food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

  • Review and update quality assurance procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation.

  • Lead quality improvement initiatives across all departments.

Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and requirements set by relevant authorities.

  • Maintain and manage food safety certifications and quality accreditations.

  • Lead food safety risk assessments and hazard analysis activities.

  • Monitor implementation of food safety controls throughout procurement, production, storage, transportation, and catering operations.

  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and pest control programmes.

Audits & Certifications

  • Plan, conduct, and manage internal audits across operational departments- ISO9K, ISO22K, Halal, Bizsafe3.

  • Coordinate external audits, inspections, and certification renewals.

  • Ensure timely closure of audit findings and implementation of corrective actions.

  • Maintain records and documentation required for audits and regulatory inspections.

Quality Control & Monitoring

  • Establish quality control procedures for incoming materials, food production processes, finished products, and catering services.

  • Conduct regular inspections and verification activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Monitor food quality, product consistency, presentation standards, and customer requirements.

  • Investigate quality-related incidents and implement preventive measures.

Customer Complaints & Corrective Actions

  • Manage customer complaints relating to food quality, food safety, and service standards.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Track complaint trends and recommend process improvements.

  • Liaise with customers and regulatory authorities when required.

Supplier Quality Management

  • Evaluate and approve suppliers based on food safety and quality requirements.

  • Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews.

  • Ensure suppliers comply with company quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Training & Staff Development

  • Develop and conduct food safety, hygiene, and quality assurance training programmes.

  • Promote quality awareness and food safety culture throughout the organization.

  • Provide guidance and coaching to operational teams on compliance requirements.

  • Assess training effectiveness and competency levels.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate quality assurance records and compliance documentation.

  • Prepare management reports on quality performance, audit outcomes, customer complaints, and food safety metrics.

  • Present quality performance data and improvement recommendations to management.

  • Support management reviews and strategic planning initiatives.

Leadership & Management

  • Lead and supervise the Quality Assurance team.

  • Establish departmental goals, KPIs, and development plans.

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Sales departments.

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
