BARTENDER TRAINEE

General Duties & Responsibilities:

• Learn the foundations of bartending in a premium whisky-led pub environment
• Develop knowledge of whisky & cocktail styles, regions, production methods, and flavour profiles
• Assist bartenders with bar service during busy periods
• Prepare and serve drinks to brand and quality standards under supervision
• Deliver warm, knowledgeable, and engaging customer service
• Maintain bar cleanliness, organisation, and stock levels
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Support events, tastings, and whisky-focused experiences
• Build speed, accuracy, and professionalism behind the bar
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for whisky, hospitality, and continuous learning

Job Requirement:

• Flexible with work hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
• Prior F&B or customer service experience is a plus (training provided)
• Attentive, friendly, and service-oriented
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
