Storekeeper

Responsibilities

1. Receive incoming goods and verify quantities, specifications and condition against delivery orders and purchase records.
2. Arrange stock in designated storage locations according to established layout, labelling and safety standards.
3. Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management or ERP system for all stock movements.
4. Issue materials and consumables to internal departments based on approved requisition documents.
5. Conduct cycle counts and periodic stocktakes, and reconcile any variances with supporting documentation.
6. Monitor stock levels against reorder points and alert the purchasing team when replenishment is needed.
7. Inspect goods for damage, expiry or shortages, and initiate return or claim procedures where required.
8. Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing and generating the relevant delivery paperwork.
9. Uphold housekeeping, fire safety and workplace safety and health standards within the store area.
10. Compile inventory and stock movement reports for review by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

1. Minimum GCE 'N'/'O' Level, NITEC or equivalent; a certificate in logistics or supply chain is advantageous.
2. At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a storekeeping, warehouse or inventory role.
3. Familiarity with inventory or ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
4. Valid forklift licence or willingness to be certified, as the role involves handling and moving heavy items.
5. Organised, detail-oriented and able to communicate effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
