Sales Manager – Thin Film / Advanced Coating

Our client is a well-established MNC specialising in advanced coating (Thin Film) and surface engineering solutions across semiconductor, precision engineering and industrial applications. Due to business expansion, they are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive new business development and market expansion.

Working Days: Monday – Friday, 5 days per week
Working Hours: 7:45am – 4:45pm
Location: Tuas (Transport Provided)

Job Responsibilities

• Drive new business development and acquire new customers across Semiconductor, Electronics, MDS, HDD, Photovoltaic and Decorative Coating industries.
• Take full ownership of the sales cycle, from prospecting and customer engagement to quotation, negotiation and order fulfilment.
• Develop and promote thin film materials, sputtering targets, evaporation materials and related advanced coating solutions.
• Focus on CMP products and identify new applications and business opportunities.
• Build and expand relationships with key customers, understanding their requirements and technology roadmaps.
• Prepare quotations, pricing strategies, sales forecasts and demand planning reports.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements to identify opportunities for business growth.
• Work closely with Application Engineering, Quality, Customer Service and Finance teams to support customer requirements and resolve technical or commercial issues.
• Introduce new products and technical solutions to customers and support product commercialisation.
• Conduct frequent overseas business travel to meet customers, develop new accounts and explore new markets.
• Drive revenue, profitability and market share growth for the company's thin film products and solutions.

Requirements

• Proven track record in 100% Hunter / new business development sales, with strong ability to generate new accounts independently.
• Demonstrated sales achievement of approximately $3 million or more annually will be highly advantageous.
• Energetic, confident and highly driven to develop new business across a wide range of products and applications.
• Sales experience in CMP products is highly preferred.
• Experience covering industries such as Semiconductor, MDS, HDD, Electronics, Photovoltaic or Decorative Coating will be an advantage.
• Strong technical understanding of thin film deposition materials and coating solutions is preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage pricing, quotations and contract negotiations.
• Willing and able to travel overseas frequently for business meetings and customer engagements.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a target-driven environment.
