Information Technology Tester (12 months agency contract)

Job Description:

• Collaborate with the business analysts (BA) and Product Owners during the requirement gathering phase to review & understand the requirements to a deep level of understanding.

• Study and analyze all documentation on the SME lending process, from customer and RM origination to disbursement, to understand the business requirements and translate into test cases.

• Prepares test plans, test cases and test scripts. Write test cases and test scenarios (positive and negative) for assigned project.

• Execute regression tests, user acceptance testing and live verification.

• Report, track and determine priority of reported defects through discussions with users and logging in JIRA.

• Works with the development Team and SIT team during performance testing, regression testing, and UAT.

• Do timely tracking of issues and coordinating with users and tech team to resolve the issues within SLA (Response to users within 1 working day).

• Prepare the relevant documentation that documents the test scope, test data, test cases and overall testing progress

• Stays abreast of QA & Testing best practice and latest available tools, frameworks and standards

Requirements:

• Meticulous, analytical and process oriented, familiar with software development lifecycle

• You work smart with minimal handholding, and able to understand complex logics and workflows, so that test cases created are thorough and complete.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, so that you can understand requirements clearly from users.

• A self-driven and highly motivated hands-on mentality

• Experience in UAT testing and using project management tools (Confluence, JIRA) is preferred

• Experience in banking industry and prior work experience in testing of digital lending platforms is preferred
