Sitecore Engineer (Contract)

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies and hands-on experience with Sitecore CMS to join a dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise-grade web applications while ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability across business-critical platforms.

You will work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA teams, and other technology stakeholders to deliver new features, system enhancements, and production support. The position involves full software development lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and Sitecore CMS.
• Build and support RESTful APIs, integrations, and responsive front-end components.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support, including incident investigation, root cause analysis, and defect resolution.
• Design and maintain Sitecore templates, layouts, renderings, and reusable components.
• Support application deployments, release activities, and post-production monitoring.
• Ensure adherence to security standards, coding best practices, and performance optimization principles.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in software development and enterprise application delivery.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Sitecore 10.x, Sitecore XP, and CMS development.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery practices.
• Sitecore certification or exposure to Sitecore SXA, JSS, GraphQL, xDB, or xConnect will be advantageous.
