Accounts Executive (1-Year Renewable Contract|European MNC)
Our client is an established European MNC in the infrastructure sector seeking an Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day financial operations and support month-end closing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in double-entry accounting paired with data automation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities across sales, purchases, cash transactions, accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate double-entry records.
• Maintain customer and vendor ledgers and complete regular bank and account reconciliations.
• Support monthly and annual closing processes, including journal postings and preparation of supporting schedules.
• Coordinate payment processing to ensure disbursements are completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
• Assist with statutory tax filings and compliance matters, including GST, Withholding Tax and Corporate Income Tax.
• Contribute to the improvement and automation of accounting processes where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• At least two years of practical accounting experience covering standard accounting processes.
• Proficiency in Python, with the ability to automate routine tasks, work with financial datasets and improve accounting workflows.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Detail-oriented and organised, with clear communication skills and the ability to manage tasks independently.
