Role Overview
The Client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join the Documentation team. This is an entry-level opportunity with a strong interest in financial markets and candidates with relevant internship experience within the finance or banking sector.
The successful candidate will support documentation activities relating to Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) products and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure documentation is accurately completed and maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the FICC Documentation team in preparing, reviewing and maintaining relevant documentation.
- Assist with the documentation process for FICC-related transactions and ensure required information is complete and accurate.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain and validate required documentation and information.
- Perform document checks and follow up on outstanding or incomplete information.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is properly filed and updated.
- Support the team with day-to-day administrative and operational activities relating to documentation.
- Ensure work is completed accurately and within the required timelines.
- Escalate any discrepancies or issues to the relevant team members for further review.
Requirements
- Entry Level role.
- Degree in Finance, Banking, Business, Economics or a related discipline preferred.
- Internship experience within banking, financial services, investment banking or a related finance environment is preferred.
- Strong interest in financial markets / FICC products.
- Strong attention to detail with good analytical and organisational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with documentation and handling detailed information.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
