Loss Adjuster

As a Loss Adjuster, you will play a key role in investigating, assessing and managing a variety of property, liability and injury claims. The role involves a combination of onsite investigations, analysis, communication with various parties, and preparation of professional reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough investigations of insurance claims, including onsite inspections and interviews with claimants, witnesses and other relevant parties.
• Assess the extent, circumstances and validity of losses.
• Review and analyse insurance policies and coverage to determine the applicability of claims.
• Gather, analyse and evaluate information to establish the facts and circumstances of each claim.
• Prepare clear, detailed and well-reasoned reports outlining findings and recommendations.
• Liaise with insurers, policyholders, brokers, contractors and other relevant parties throughout the claims process.
• Assist in negotiating and working towards settlements with claimants and other parties involved in the claims.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good investigation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous, organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Comfortable with onsite inspections and meeting people from different backgrounds.
• Possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Training will be provided to suitable candidates. Candidates with relevant insurance or claims experience, or professional qualifications such as CILA/ANZIIF, will have an added advantage.
