Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Analyst with 2–4 years of experience to work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical teams to understand business needs, translate them into clear requirements, and support successful project delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, challenges, and objectives.
• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable inputs for development and technical teams.
• Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and optimisation.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, discussions, and stakeholder meetings.
• Support prioritisation of requirements based on business value, feasibility, and project objectives.
• Assist QA teams in developing test scenarios and validating solutions against business requirements.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support issue clarification and resolution.
• Track requirement changes and ensure proper documentation and stakeholder sign-off.
• Identify dependencies, gaps, risks, and potential impacts arising from requirements or process changes.
• Support project documentation, presentations, status updates, and other project-related activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT/software development or technology projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation.
• Good knowledge of process mapping and workflow documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and collaboration tools.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, or equivalent is an advantage.
