AI Engineer (SAP Business AI & Enterprise AI Platforms)

We are building AI capability on top of our SAP specializations. This role designs and delivers production AI systems — generative copilots, retrieval-augmented assistants, and agentic workflows — that can be deployed on SAP store and sold to SAP customers.

You will own the technical design end to end: architecture, model integration, governance guardrails, and deployment. You will work directly with consultants in finance, procurement, and order management to identify where AI actually changes the outcome, with safe systems that are observable, and maintainable.

- Design and build AI solutions on SAP BTP, including RAG pipelines, document ingestion and grounding, and LLM-based agents
- Integrate AI services with SAP S/4HANA and surrounding systems using clean-core, side-by-side extension patterns
- Configure and extend SAP's AI stack — AI Core, Generative AI Hub, AI Launchpad, Joule
- Build and maintain integrations via SAP Integration Suite (CPI, Event Mesh, API Management), OData and REST APIs
- Establish AI governance in practice: model registration, evaluation, monitoring, human-in-the-loop controls, data lineage, and auditability
- Translate business process requirements (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report) into technical solution designs
- Set standards, review designs and code, and mentor developers on the team
