Job Summary
Lead the company’s fundraising, financing, and capital market strategies. Drive equity and debt financing, investor relations, M&A, financial planning, and internal finance operations to support growth and IPO readiness.
Responsibilities
- Lead the company’s fundraising and financing strategy, including equity financing, debt financing, strategic investments, and other capital solutions to secure optimal funding.
- Develop and maintain relationships with banks, PE/VC funds, strategic investors, family offices, and financial institutions to lead financing discussions, roadshows, and transaction execution.
- Lead financial modelling, valuation analysis, preparation of investor materials, management presentations, and due diligence processes to support investment decisions.
- Support medium- to long-term capital markets strategy, including pre-IPO financing, IPO readiness, and listing-related projects to position the company for public offering.
- Lead or support M&A, joint ventures, strategic investments, acquisitions, and divestments by structuring transactions, performing valuations, negotiating terms, and executing deals.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and senior management on capital allocation, business expansion, investment decisions, and strategic planning to drive company growth.
- Develop and refine the company’s investment narrative and financial story for investors, lenders, and external stakeholders to enhance market positioning.
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-term financial planning, and business analysis to support growth initiatives and major investment decisions.
- Build financial models to evaluate new markets, projects, customer contracts, and business opportunities by analyzing profitability, cash flow, and return on investment.
- Oversee internal finance operations including accounting, month-end closing, management reporting, cash management, audit, and statutory reporting to ensure financial integrity.
- Manage tax, GST/VAT, transfer pricing, and cross-border finance and tax matters by coordinating with external auditors, tax advisors, and professional service providers.
- Establish and enhance internal controls, approval processes, financial policies, and governance frameworks to support rapid growth and capital-market compliance.
- Manage treasury functions, cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships to maintain sufficient liquidity and an optimal capital structure.
- Build and lead a scalable regional finance team and operating model to support the company’s growth and future IPO readiness.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- MBA, CFA, CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior IPO, pre-IPO, listed-company, or major capital-market transaction experience is highly preferred.
- Experience in technology, AI, digital infrastructure, data centers, cloud services, or other high-growth industries is highly preferred.
- Experience across Singapore and Southeast Asia, including cross-border transactions, is strongly preferred.
- English language capability is preferred.
