Job Summary

You will supervise construction works by applying statutory codes and quality standards, maintaining accurate site records, and proactively resolving site issues to ensure project progress and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Apply statutory codes and regulatory requirements to supervise site activities, ensuring quality control and compliance throughout construction administration and progress reporting
• Analyze site conditions and project data to communicate effectively with stakeholders through clear verbal and written reports
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records documenting work progress and compliance status
• Identify, address, and resolve site issues collaboratively to maintain project timelines and foster a positive team environment
• Supervise complex construction works, including large span structural steel and precast construction, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical discipline from a Polytechnic or equivalent
• Accreditation from the Joint Accreditation Committee of IES and ACES
• BCSS certificate
• Structural Steel Supervisor (StS) certificate
• Minimum 10 years of relevant RTO experience, including at least 8 years supervising works of similar complexity

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience supervising large span structural steel and precast construction
