Senior / Staff Nurse – Major Surgery Suite | AU Nurse | Up to $7K #HTJ

Salary: $4,000 – $7,950 (Based on experience)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive peri-operative nursing care to patients before, during and after surgery.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care to ensure safe and effective surgical outcomes.
• Perform Scrub and Circulating Nurse duties in the Operating Room.
• Prepare, handle and maintain specialised surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring proper sterilisation, infection control and traceability.
• Work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure smooth and safe surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients' conditions and respond appropriately to changes during the peri-operative period.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and comply with established clinical and safety protocols.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives and service development projects.
• Support the orientation, training and development of junior nurses within the Operating Room.
• Maintain a safe, clean and efficient Operating Room environment in accordance with hospital policies and infection control standards.

Requirements

Diploma /Degree in Nursing.

Valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) Practising Certificate.

Minimum 3 years of Operating Room / Operating Theatre experience.

Post-Basic Certificate / Advanced Diploma in Peri-operative Nursing will be an advantage.
