Job Summary
We are looking for a Program Engineer to support and manage engineering projects from development through delivery. You will work closely with engineering, NPI, manufacturing, quality teams, customers and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project plans, schedules, timelines and budgets for engineering programs.
- Coordinate with NPI, manufacturing and quality teams to drive project progress.
- Monitor project milestones and resolve technical or operational issues.
- Provide engineering support for precision manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, micro-fabrication and metrology.
- Support prototype development and ensure designs are manufacturable.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments and technical evaluations.
- Coordinate testing, validation and inspection activities to meet quality and tolerance requirements.
- Communicate project updates, risks and technical information to customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare project reports and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years or more of experience in program/project engineering within precision engineering or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of precision manufacturing processes and materials.
- Experience with CNC machining, CAD/CAM and precision measurement tools is advantageous.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA or AutoCAD is a plus.
- Strong project management, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project is advantageous.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards.
- Experience supporting customers in semiconductor, aerospace, medical device or analytical/life sciences industries.
- Exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies such as additive manufacturing or laser machining.
