Join a leading luxury watch retailer where you will play a key role in shaping the learning culture across retail boutiques and corporate teams. As the Training & Development Manager, you will drive learning strategies, develop talent, and partner with business leaders to enhance employee capability and customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the annual Learning & Development (L&D) strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) to identify capability gaps and recommend effective learning solutions.
- Partner closely with Retail Operations, HR, Brand Partners, and business leaders to drive learning and talent development initiatives.
- Design, facilitate, and deliver engaging training programmes, leadership workshops, onboarding, and coaching sessions.
- Conduct boutique visits, field coaching, and customer observations to enhance service excellence and sales performance.
- Support talent development, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
- Develop and maintain competency frameworks, learning pathways, and training materials.
- Measure training effectiveness through evaluations, operational KPIs, mystery shopping results, and stakeholder feedback, implementing continuous improvements where required.
- Manage training budgets, external training providers, and learning resources efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on compliance, systems, awareness training, boutique openings, and regional learning projects.
- Lead learning and organisational development initiatives assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Diploma in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business, Education or a related discipline
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant L&D/Training experience, preferably in retail, luxury, hospitality or service-related industries
Strong experience in training needs analysis, programme design, facilitation and coaching
Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience in retail training, field coaching, customer service development or talent development is an advantage
Strong project management, analytical and organisational skills
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Willing to travel occasionally to Malaysia and Thailand for regional training initiatives
