Assistant Manager , Communications
About this job
We are looking for a motivated and creative communications professional to support the delivery of impactful communications within the healthcare industry .
You will play a key role in bringing population health and community care initiatives to life through engaging stories, digital content, visual materials and communications campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Storytelling
- Develop engaging content including articles, newsletters, social media posts, speeches and presentations.
- Translate complex healthcare and population health topics into clear and relatable stories.
- Develop stories that showcase programme impact, partnerships and community outcomes.
- Support the creation of visual and multimedia content such as videos and infographics.
Communications & Campaigns
- Support the development and rollout of communications materials and campaigns.
- Tailor content for different audiences, including residents, partners and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure consistency in messaging, tone and branding across communication materials.
Internal & Partner Communications
- Develop and curate content for internal communication channels, newsletters and intranet platforms.
- Support communications for partner engagement, events and outreach initiatives.
- Work with stakeholders to gather stories, updates and content for dissemination.
Media & Digital Support
- Support media and public communications activities, including drafting media materials and monitoring media coverage.
- Assist with digital platform management and content updates.
Project & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate timelines and deliverables for communications projects.
- Work with external vendors such as designers and videographers to produce communications materials.
- Ensure timely delivery and quality of communications outputs.
Requirements
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of relevant communications experience is advantageous .
- Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills.
- Ability to translate complex topics into clear and engaging content for different audiences.
- Good visual sense and appreciation for design.
- Experience in digital content creation, social media and/or video production.
- Strong project coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proactive, resourceful and detail-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills.
