ABOUT THE ROLE

The Scientific Affairs & Market Development Associate will bridge science, medicine, and commercial growth by mastering Lucence’s diagnostic technologies, engaging healthcare professionals, supporting product launches, and identifying regional market opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Build expertise in Lucence’s diagnostic technologies and translate complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences
• Support scientific discussions, medical education, and key opinion leader (KOL) engagement to enhance healthcare professional understanding and adoption
• Research customer needs, market trends, competitor activities, and identify new growth opportunities to inform strategic decisions
• Support commercial initiatives by preparing for customer meetings, delivering product demonstrations, and assisting business development efforts
• Assist in product launches, marketing campaigns, conferences, and develop compelling scientific and clinical messaging to drive product adoption
• Collaborate closely with Scientific, Product, Marketing, and Commercial teams to integrate customer and market insights into product development and commercial strategies
• Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, customers, and partners in regional markets using professional fluency in Bahasa Indonesia to support engagement and relationship management
• Use English proficiency to collaborate with internal teams and regional stakeholders

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline
• Strong interest in healthcare, diagnostics, biotechnology, and medical technology
• Ability to understand and clearly communicate scientific information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfortable presenting and engaging with stakeholders, and learning through customer interactions
• Commercial curiosity with an interest in how scientific products create value for customers
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
