Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare quantity requirements to support accurate project costing
• Analyze maintenance and material costs and scrutinize contracts to secure optimal deals
• Liaise effectively with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate project activities
• Prepare comprehensive reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, and risk assessments to inform decision-making
• Document design changes and update budgets to reflect project modifications
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration
• Travel from the office to various sites as required to oversee project progress and resolve issues

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, supporting technical understanding and professional practice
• Familiarity with AutoCAD software to assist in design review and documentation
• Good technical knowledge relevant to quantity surveying tasks
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure to meet project deadlines
