Warehouse Assistant Manager

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Warehouse Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and ensure efficient inventory and order fulfilment processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with the management team and warehouse staff to coordinate warehouse activities, maintain accurate inventory records and ensure goods are received, stored and dispatched efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the daily operations of the warehouse.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing inventory and maintain accurate stock records.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Coordinate the preparation of customer orders for delivery or collection.
• Ensure goods are properly stored, labelled and organised.
• Monitor stock levels and highlight low-stock or replenishment requirements to management.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers and delivery personnel where necessary.
• Assist in planning daily work schedules.
• Ensure warehouse safety, cleanliness and proper handling of goods.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and assist management in resolving operational issues.
• Prepare basic inventory and warehouse operation reports.
• Assist in improving warehouse processes and operational efficiency.
• Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant warehouse or inventory management experience.
• Good understanding of inventory control, stock management and warehouse operations.
• Able to organise work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel or similar inventory systems.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
• Responsible, reliable and willing to take a hands-on approach to warehouse operations.
