🚀 What You'll Be Doing (Core Impact & Responsibilities)

Your expertise will be the cornerstone of our operations, spanning system architecture, security, automation, and operational excellence:

• Spearhead the design, implementation, and commissioning of turnkey telecom/IT solutions using cutting-edge platforms (e.g., VMware, Red Hat, AWS EKS). This includes hands-on hardware integration (Cisco/Fortigate) and generating high-quality documentation (HLD/LLD, MoPs, UAT/SAT).
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions) leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform). Enforce DevSecOps best practices across Kubernetes and orchestration platforms, automating workflows to ensure scalability for edge and IoT systems.
• Be part of our rotational 24/7 support structure, providing expert-level troubleshooting for complex network and firewall issues. Protect our systems by conducting VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing), remediating per OWASP/IMDA standards, and integrating AI for proactive, predictive threat detection.
• Optimise Application Performance: Tune and manage critical application servers (Tomcat/WebLogic), including JVM optimisation and RESTful API integrations. You'll also be optimising SIP/RTP signaling on Session Border Controllers (SBCs like Acme Packet).
• Facilitate essential technical workshops, manage vendor escalations, and lead compliance reviews. Act as a mentor, guiding junior engineers in technical best practices and career growth.

🌟 What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience)

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Telecom/Communications/Cybersecurity/AI specialisation preferred), with 5+ years in telecom systems engineering and proven project leadership experience.
• Proficiency in Linux/VMware/AWS, strong scripting skills (Bash/Python/PowerShell), and hands-on experience with security tools (WAF/IDS/IPS) and containerization (Docker/K8s).
• Familiarity with 5G core elements, SIP protocols, app servers, and network security concepts (IAM/SSL/encryption).
• Experience with AI/ML for network analytics, cloud-edge computing, and an awareness of sustainability metrics (e.g., carbon footprint tools).
• Holds a relevant certification like CCNA/CCNP, AWS Certified DevOps, CISSP, or equivalent.
• A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, and a collaborative, adaptable approach.
