Tender Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Lead tender process from pre-tender to submission, in compliance with requirements and deadlines.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BQ and contract requirements.
• Prepare tender pricing and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QS, Procurement and Project teams.
• Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Attend tender clarification meetings, negotiations and presentations with clients, consultants and relevant stakeholders.
• Contract award, project handover and commercial clarifications.
• Guide and mentor the tender team.

Requirements

• Degree in QS / Civil / Structural / Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in tendering within the construction industry.
• Experience with Main/ Sub Contractor in earth construction works/ marine & water projects/ infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of construction contracts, tendering procedures, cost estimation and procurement.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD and tendering/ estimating software.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and contract documents.
• Good negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tenders within tight deadlines.
• Meticulous, organised and responsible.
