Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Logistics / Freight
• Position Title: Shipping Assistant
• Working Location: Raffles Place (Near MRT)
• Working Hours: 5 working days; Monday-Friday (8.30 AM – 5.30 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + AWS + Performance Bonus + Medical + Dental Benefits
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipping documents such as bills of lading, customs declarations, and related paperwork
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and customs authorities to ensure timely delivery
• Track shipment status and provide updates to relevant parties
• Maintain accurate records and update databases for shipping activities
• Assist with customs clearance, including basic calculation of duties and taxes
• Provide administrative support to the logistics team
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding
• Knowledge of customs procedures, tariff codes, and import/export processes is a plus
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to organise tasks and manage time effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Detail-oriented and accurate
