Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturer for Semi-Con Industry
• Position Title: Purchaser
• Working Location: Loyang Way
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri: 8am-5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic + VB
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Review material requirements and raise purchase orders for raw materials, tooling, consumables, and production items.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Follow up on purchase orders, delivery schedules, and urgent material requirements.
• Monitor material availability and inventory levels to support production needs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on deliveries, shortages, and quality issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records.
• Support supplier evaluation and other purchasing duties as assigned.

• GCE O-Level, Higher NITEC, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience in precision engineering or machining is an advantage.
• Able to read engineering drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• ERP or MRP system experience is an advantage.
• Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
