Project Manager (Irrigation)

Position: Project Manager (Irrigation)

Role Duties:

• Assign and inspect the work of irrigation workers, initiate corrective action to secure satisfactory standards and timely project completion.
• Plan and develop work schedules, equipment usage schedules and procedures for equipment maintenance.
• Maintain cost records which may include time and material costs and estimate irrigation design and repairs.
• Maintain accurate landscape drawings manually or on computer design system.
• Maintain accurate records of water usage to maximize water efficiency, review approve, or change contract specifications.
• Coordinate with electrician and other appropriate departments/outside contractors in the design, installation and repair of automated underground lawn sprinkler systems.
• Able to choose, purchase and use the drip and sprinkler materials as per the site requirements.
• Selection criteria and purchase of irrigation pumps.
• Design the drip and sprinkler irrigation system based on the discharge and head requirement at site.
• Troubleshoot the pumps systems used in irrigation using suitable contractors.
• Responsible for the planning and execution of routing of electrical and irrigation pipes for the high-rise buildings.

Candidate profile:

• Degree/Diploma in Landscape Irrigation/Agricultural Engineering.
• With 3 to 5 years of experience in the inspection, repair and installation of sprinkler system design.
• Knowledge on the control panel for pumps and irrigation systems.
• Knowledge on solenoid valves installation and irrigation controller installation.
• Knowledge on fertigator and sand filter.
• Skill in math sufficient to figure pipe flows, gallonges, pipe sizing, friction losses, run times, systems efficiency, spacing and head selections.
• Ability to read blue prints.
• With good communication skills.
