Simulation Software Engineer (C++ / Unreal Development)

We are looking for a Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and simulation systems. In this role, you will work on mission-critical projects that support Defence and Public Security operations, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Software Development
- Design, develop, and integrate software applications based on project requirements and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain high-performance systems that operate reliably in real-world environments.
- Enhance and support existing applications and systems.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
System Integration & Troubleshooting
- Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve software and system-related issues.
- Support integration activities and ensure seamless interaction between software components.
- Perform testing and validation to ensure software quality and performance.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, testers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.
- Contribute to project planning, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support technical discussions and provide recommendations to improve system performance and reliability.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and system records.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, security requirements, and quality guidelines.
- Follow established engineering and software development best practices.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in software development, game development, or real-time simulation projects.
- Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine, C++, and Blueprint Scripting.
- Familiarity with Unity, C#, and SQL databases will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for developing high-quality software solutions.
- Experience in simulation systems, gaming, or defence-related projects will be highly regarded.
