Senior Quantity Surveyor (ID & Construction)

Job Overview

Responsible for managing project costs, budgets, tendering, procurement and contract matters to ensure projects are completed within budget and achieve good commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates and cash flow projections.
• Conduct cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities. (three quote practice)
• Prepare tender documents, BQ and procurement requirements.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate quotations with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs, progress and expenditures.
• Manage Variation Orders (VO), claims and progress payments.
• Prepare cost reports and final accounts.
• Work closely with Project, Procurement and Site Teams on cost-related matters.
• Guide and support junior QS team members.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant QS experience.
• Experience in construction, renovation or interior fit-out projects.
• Good knowledge of costing, tendering, procurement and contract administration.
• Good negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.
