Sales Executive

Job Summary

You will focus on winning new customers, developing business opportunities, and driving profitable growth across Singapore and the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers across Singapore and regional markets to expand business reach
• Identify opportunities and convert leads, RFQs, and quotations into confirmed shipments
• Develop ocean and air freight business across US and non-US trade lanes to diversify service offerings
• Build strong customer relationships and grow existing accounts to increase revenue
• Collaborate with Pricing, Operations, and overseas offices to deliver competitive freight forwarding solutions
• Manage sales pipeline, monitor gross profit targets, and conduct timely customer follow-ups to achieve sales goals
• Provide market and customer intelligence to support strategic business development decisions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Freight forwarding or logistics sales experience preferred
• 2–5 years' experience preferred for experienced candidates; promising junior candidates are also welcome
• Existing Singapore customer network is an advantage
• Strong hunter mentality with willingness to prospect, cold call, and meet customers proactively
• Commercially minded, self-driven, and results-oriented approach to sales
• Effective communication and negotiation skills to close deals
• Ability to work independently and contribute to the growth of a developing Singapore team
