Design Engineer

Job description

• Create and update 3D models, detailed drawings and design documentation using CAD tools.
• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and tolerance checks to validate designs.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and analyse results for design improvements.
• Work with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective.
• Interpret specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards to guide design work.
• Participate in design reviews, provide technical input, and document design outputs.
• Troubleshoot design issues, contribute to root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Share knowledge with peers and contribute to process or workflow improvements.

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Proficient in CAD software, preferably in AutoCad & SolidWorks
• Preferably with knowledge in Jigs & Fixtures design
• Experience in the semiconductor industry.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
