Job Description

• Position Title: Manual Lathe / Drilling Machinist
• Working Location: Tuas Ave
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon - Fri, 8.00am - 5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic salary up to $1,900 + OT + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Operate manual lathe and drilling machines to produce parts according to job requirements.
• Perform turning, facing, drilling, boring, threading, tapping, and other machining work.
• Read and follow technical drawings, sketches, and work instructions.
• Measure and check finished parts using measuring tools such as vernier calipers and micrometers.
• Set up machines, tools, and workpieces before machining.
• Ensure parts are completed accurately and meet quality standards.
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and keep tools in good working condition.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Report machine issues, material defects, or quality problems to the supervisor.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

• Able to operate manual lathe and drilling machines safely.
• Able to read basic technical drawings and use measuring tools.
• Basic knowledge of machining processes and workshop practices.
