Quality Engineer – Test Automation & CI/CD ( Contract )

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies based on product and technical risks
• Perform functional, integration, API and end-to-end testing
• Develop and maintain automated tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
• Test APIs and distributed/integrated systems
• Identify edge cases, failure scenarios and potential quality risks
• Conduct performance, reliability and security testing
• Investigate defects and perform root-cause analysis
• Work closely with developers to improve testability and prevent defects early
• Monitor quality metrics and provide recommendations for release readiness
• Support testing of cloud-based applications and digital products

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in Quality Engineering, QA or Software Testing
• Experience in test automation and CI/CD
• Strong experience in API, integration and end-to-end testing
• Experience testing web applications and distributed systems
• Good understanding of defect investigation and root-cause analysis
• Familiarity with AWS, GitLab CI/CD, Docker or Kubernetes is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with performance or security testing is a plus
• Hands-on Java / Kotlin, Python (FastAPI, Django, or Pandas), or TypeScript and React / Next.js experience.
• Experience with Salesforce, OutSystems, Appian, Pega, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Data engineering, ETL, or event-driven architecture experience.
